The Taiga biome, also known as the Boreal forest is the largest terrestrial biome on earth. It is located in large bands up in the north of North America, Europe, and Asia. There are many mountains and mountain ranges in the Taiga biome. It has many hills as well. Most of land is swampy. Moss grows thickly on old ponds, creating bogs, which the Taiga biome has a lot of. There are also many lakes and rivers that stretch across the biome.
