Climate of the Taiga Biome
Here is a picture of the Taiga biome during the winter.
The Taiga biome faces a lot of cold weather throughout the year. there are long cold winters and long summer days throughout the year. The chilly winds from the artic is where the Taiga biome gets its cold-type of climate. During the summer, fires are common throughout the season. The fire(s) actually help by removing old, sick trees, and making room for new growth. The yearly precipitation in the Taiga biome is usually around 10-30 in (25-75 cm). The climate usually is -54 to -1° C (-65 to 30°F) during the winter. In the summer it is usually 21° C (70° F) if it is very hot, but -7° C (20° F) at the lowest. An interesting fact is that rain even falls when it is snowing in the Taiga biome and it also rains in the summer as well.
